224563-Audubon bird walk

Let’s celebrate the season of cider, sweaters, and falling leaves! AARP is offering two outdoor activities in collaboration with the Massabesic Audubon Center this October. Whether you are exploring New Hampshire’s walking trails on a nature walk or experiencing live music and bonfires at a fall celebration, you won’t want to miss any the fun this season!

Fall Nature Walk

Join Naturalist Kelly Dwyer for a gentle walk to enjoy fall foliage and learn how nature prepares for winter. Discuss the changing position of the sun in the sky and the fall migration of birds. Where do common New Hampshire species spend their winters? How do animals that stay get through the darkest, coldest nights?  Group size is limited to 25. Registration is required by calling 603-668-2045.  Price for AARP members and a guest is $5 per person.
