We're thrilled to team up once again with The Palace Theatre in Manchester for their 2023-2024 St. Mary’s Bank Performing Arts Series of fantastic theater and musicals. This season features some time-honored favorites as well as some bright, new productions.

AARP NH is pleased to offer a discount of $10 off “Adult” category tickets for all of the shows below. All you have to do is use code ACTIVE. The code is not valid on senior, veterans, or children’s tickets.

Wizard of Oz (September 8 – 24)
Follow the Yellow Brick Road in this delightful stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s beloved tale, featuring the iconic musical score from the MGM film. This timeless tale, in which young Dorothy Gale travels from Kansas over the rainbow to the magical land of Oz, continues to thrill audiences worldwide.

Kinky Boots (October 13 – November 5)
Charlie Price has reluctantly inherited his father’s shoe factory, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. Trying to live up to his father’s legacy and save his family business, Charlie finds inspiration in the form of Lola, a fabulous entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos. As they work to turn the factory around, this unlikely pair find that they have more in common than they realized… and discover that when you change your mind, you can change your whole world.

The Nutcracker--The Palace Theatre—Manchester (Nov 16 to 19)
Enjoy the magic and beauty of the timeless classic this holiday season as Southern New Hampshire Dance Theater performs The Nutcracker. The performance unfolds at a Christmas party at a home in 19th Century Germany, where a special Christmas gift is given from a mysterious and loving uncle to his young and curious niece Clara. With delicate costumes, engaging and vivid imagery as Clara’s dream comes to life on-stage. This holiday classic is a tradition for the whole family to enjoy.

A Christmas Carol—The Palace Theatre—Manchester (Nov 24 to Dec 23)
Known for his penny-pinching ways, Scrooge is visited by three ghosts on a snowy Christmas Eve. These ghostly visits reveal Scrooge’s past, present and future, filling him with newfound hope and joy in the Christmas season! Filled with lively song and dance, special effects, professional actors and a live orchestra, this heartwarming tale will create family memories you will cherish forever.

Dancing Queens: The Ultimate ABBA/Disco Tribute (January 19 – February 11, 2024)
Experience the glitter and glamour of the 70’s Disco Age. This show highlights a time when Swedish disco group ABBA ruled the music world. ABBA’s music has stood the test of time, entertaining all generations. You will be singing along and dancing in the aisles! “You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life!”

The Prom (March 1 – 24, 2024)
Four eccentric Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage, so when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small town prom, they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue . . . and themselves. The town’s parents want to keep the high school dance on the straight and narrow—but when one student just wants to bring her girlfriend to prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. On a mission to transform lives, Broadway’s brassiest join forces with a courageous girl and the town’s citizens and the result is love that brings them all together.

Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (April 19 – May 12, 2024)

42nd Street (May 31 – June 23, 2024)
42nd Street celebrates Broadway and the magic of showbiz with wit, humor and pizzazz. At the height of the Great Depression, aspiring chorus girl Peggy Sawyer comes to the big city from Allentown, PA and soon lands her first big job in the ensemble of a glitzy new Broadway show. Just before opening night, the leading lady breaks her ankle. Will Peggy be able to step in and become a star? The score is chock-full of Broadway favs, including “We’re In the Money,” “Lullaby of Broadway,” and “Forty-Second Street.”
