Elections 2018 #2
In the 2016 Presidential election, 382,606 Granite Staters  over 50+ voted.   In the 2014 mid-term election, 337,472 turned out.  Meet the state’s largest and most reliable voting bloc.  Just over 500,000 people over 50 years old call New Hampshire home, some 230,000 of whom we are honored to call AARP members.  It’s time for this bloc, like prior generations, to begin repairing broken government at the voting booth.

AARP just launched “ Be The Difference. Vote™,” a comprehensive voter engagement campaign to support Americans age 50-plus as they vote in the 2018 midterm elections. The campaign will provide information on where politicians stand on the issues and help these decisive voters hold politicians accountable for their positions this November.

According to a new survey released today by AARP, more than nine in 10 New Hampshire primary voters across party lines and age groups say it is important for presidential candidates to lay out their plans to make Social Security financially sound for future generations.

Our first-in-the-nation primary is right around the corner and it’s time for all the Presidential candidates to Take a Stand on their plans to update Social Security for the 21st century. We need Presidential leadership to make sure Social Security is financially sound so current and future generations can receive the adequate benefits they’ve earned.   And we need your help.
