Taste, Test and Take a Stand

take-a-stand

AARP New Hampshire invites you, your family and friends to Taste, Test and Take A Stand in Manchester on October 18.

Accompanied by a rib-sticking meal of the Puritan Backroom’s famous chicken fingers, you’ll have the chance to connect with other AARP members and learn more about all of the things that we Granite Staters can do to encourage the candidates to Take a Stand to strengthen Social Security for future generations.

Covering everything from drafting letters to the editor and social media tactics, to how to best contact your elected officials, you’ll have a chance to “speed date” all of the tactics that citizen activists can use to make sure that Social Security takes center stage in 2016 and beyond.  (We’ll even send you home with your own “selfie” stick!)

As the election draws near, AARP’s  Take A Stand campaign will continue to focus on the goal of ensuring that Social Security remains a top priority for all of the candidates for federal office. From being visible at candidate events, to direct engagement with voters, we’re continuing to grow our robust presence in the state, and it all starts with active members and volunteers like you!
