Walk for Your Health Fall 2019

ST. LOUIS WALKATHON m

Manchester’s Parks and Recreation Department has released the fall dates for 2019’s Walk for your Health program. This walking group is open to people of all ages who want to get out in the fresh air, exercise and meet new friends! This fall series will run from Wednesday, September 4 – Monday, November 11, with walks taking place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:00 am at a variety of locations.

AARP will be present at the first walk of each month, handing out treats and providing information on local programs and events!

Participants are welcome to walk as far as their comfort level takes them. Remember to wear firm, comfortable footwear and loose clothing. There will be a one-time $3.00 registration fee to help defray some of the program expenses. In case of inclement weather, walks will be held at the Mall of New Hampshire.

For more information, call the Parks, Recreation & Cemetery Division at 603 624 6444.
