New phone number for national Volunteer Teletown Hall starting with May 26 call

 

AARP hosts monthly teletownhalls (TTHs) designed to help our volunteers stay up-to-date on key AARP activities.

TTHs are held the last Thursday evening of every month and hundreds of volunteers from across the country join the call.

There’s a new toll-free phone number for the calls: 1-877-209-3531 (no access code is needed).

The next Issue Briefing TTH call will be Thursday, May 26 from 6-7 p.m. Central Standard Time.

The leader of AARP’s national Campaigns team, John Hishta, will share the latest on Take A Stand, AARP’s effort to press every presidential candidate to tell voters their plan for updating Social Security.

There will also be a look at research on who’s been voting during the primaries and volunteer opportunities on Election Day. As always, there will be time for volunteer questions and comments.
