ALBANY, New York – Following the state Legislature’s passage of a  bill negotiated with Governor Andrew M. Cuomo to create a new class of advanced home health aides who would be allowed to perform previously prohibited health tasks,  AARP New York State Director Beth Finkelissued the following  statement:
