Limited Tax-Aide Services Offered in North Dakota in 2021

Tax return forms and documents

Because of the ongoing pandemic, AARP Foundation Tax-Aide services in North Dakota are being offered on a very limited basis to ensure the safety of clients and the volunteers who provide the service.  There will be no in-person tax preparation this year.  Some sites allow the drop off of tax documents while other sites will scan taxpayer documents so the returns can be prepared.  Some sites will not allow either scanning or drop off of tax documents but will prepare tax returns virtually.

Even though the Internal Revenue Service and the N.D. Tax Department have extended the tax filing deadline to May 17, 2020, the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program will be providing service beyond April 15.

In North Dakota, taxpayers should call the number listed for the city nearest them to receive information regarding the tax preparation process this year.
