Are you looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity?

We have two one-day training sessions coming up this fall which would allow you to make a difference right where you live.

The amount of time you spend volunteering with us is completely up to you. We'll provide you with the resources and support you need after the training. And any expenses you incur as a volunteer would be reimbursed.

Advocacy volunteers Tuesday, September 24 | West Fargo
Join a group of advocacy volunteers – people interested in building relationships with their local legislators and have an interest in issues important to our members and their families. Your role would be to help educate legislators on issues of importance to people 50-plus in North Dakota. There is no cost to attend this one-day training session, but registration is required. Go to aarp.cvent.com/AdvocacyTraining9-24-19 to register. For more information, contact Mike Chaussee at 701-355-3641 or email mchaussee@aarp.org.

Fraud Fighters Tuesday, October 22 | Bismarck
Do you want to make a difference for others right where you live? Join our group of volunteer Fraud Fighters and present fraud and scam information to small groups and clubs in communities in your area. This is a one-day training session. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. Go to aarp.cvent.com/FraudTraining10-22-19 to register. For more information, contact Doreen Riedman at 701-355-3643 or email driedman@aarp.org.

Join us for either of these training sessions and make a difference in the lives of North Dakotans 50 and older.
