AARP Oklahoma invites volunteers to help fight hunger and feed hope by participating in its annual Day of Service, Sept. 11. Volunteers can choose one of three locations: the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma in Tulsa, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City and the Community Market of Pottawatomie County in Shawnee.

Last year, AARP staff and volunteers bagged 4,760 pounds of apples and packed more than 8,800 meals.

To sign up, call 877-926-8300 toll-free.
