AARP Did Not Authorize or Participate in Production of American Bridge 21st Century PAC Trump-Biden Mailer
AARP Pennsylvania State Director Bill Johnston-Walsh released the following statement today in response to American Bridge 21st Century PAC’s citation of AARP and use of AARP’s logo in a political mailer on the presidential campaign and positions on the candidates’ approach to health care. Providing a snapshot of the anxious mood of a key voter group, 14 women from the Pittsburgh suburbs met Thursday night in an online forum hosted by AARP Pennsylvania and voiced numerous worries, from the endurance of the pandemic and the nation’s economic well being to the bitter tone of the presidential race.
AARP Pennsylvania has launched “Protect Voters 50+,” a comprehensive voter engagement campaign to support and protect Pennsylvanians age 50 and up as they vote in the 2020 elections. The campaign will provide information on where candidates stand on issues that matter to Pennsylvanians 50-plus and help them cast their votes safely from home or in-person.
AARP PA Applauds Wolf Administration’s Commitment to Boost Financial Resources for Programs Serving Older Adults
AARP Pennsylvania today praised the Wolf Administration’s plan to increase funding in the upcoming 2020-21 state budget for programs serving the state’s most vulnerable older adults.
