AARP members from across Pennsylvania today called on state officials to provide additional support for the 1.6 million family members providing care to older adults at home at a state capitol rally in Harrisburg.
More than 100 Erie area families caring for loved ones at home or anticipating care for themselves or family members adults recently attended a special AARP Pennsylvania Caregiving Forum held earlier this month at Erie’s Blasco Memorial Library.
AARP is fighting to ensure that older Pennsylvanians receive the help they need to live in their homes and communities as they age--where so many raised their families.
