Test your fraud savviness and pick up a few tips at Fraud on Tap, a new AARP New Hampshire program marrying scam trivia and happy hour. Bring your friends and family, enjoy snacks and one free drink, and maybe even win prizes.

The events are Saturday, March 23, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Beaver Meadow Golf Course (1 Beaver Meadow Drive, Concord), and Tuesday, March 26, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Throwback Brewery (7 Hobbs Road, North Hampton).

Every two seconds con artists steal someone’s identity, according to the AARP Fraud Watch Network. That theft results in a loss of $18 billion each year for consumers.

Fraud on Tap is free, but registration is required, as space is limited. Sign up at aarp.cvent.com/FraudOnTap.

AARP also has trained volunteers who give one-hour presentations before community groups on common scams. To request a presentation, email nh@aarp.org.
