AARP Advocacy Day at the Capitol will take place on Tuesday, January 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the N.D. State Capitol. All AARP members are invited to participate. We will have busses traveling from Minot and Fargo to help members with transportation.

You will have the opportunity to take part in the legislative process by attending hearings and floor sessions, and visiting with your legislators. AARP staff and volunteers will guide you through the Capitol and give you insights on issues affecting those 50-plus here in North Dakota.

AARP is fighting hard on the issues important to you at the North Dakota Legislature, including support for family caregivers, property taxes, affordable housing, and health care. We need active and engaged AARP members to help us advocate for these issues with your legislators.

The Minot bus will leave Minot at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 29. The bus will leave from the Capitol at 3 p.m. and return to Minot by 5:00 p.m.

The Fargo bus will leave Fargo at 7:00 a.m. The bus will leave from the Capitol at 3 p.m. and be back in Fargo by 6 p.m.
