Richmond, VA -- A diverse group of multidisciplinary college students from across the Commonwealth gathered to address the often overlooked issue of caregiver health and wellness at the 2017 “Caring for the Caregiver Intercollegiate Hack” hosted by VirginiaNavigator’s Lindsay Institute for Innovations in Caregiving.
Vienna, VA – Leadership Fairfax (LFI) is currently accepting applications for the fall 2015 Lifetime Leadership Program (LLP.) This two month tuition based program is for the newly retired, or those close to retirement, that are seeking to utilize their knowledge and leadership to make significant contributions to the Fairfax County community. It is based on the belief that people in the second half of life can offer a wealth of experience, talent, and vitality to community initiatives, while enriching and expanding their own lives.
Virginia’s 1.7 million family caregivers got a boost this spring from college students. The Lindsay Institute for Innovations in Caregiving hosted its inaugural Caring for the Caregiver Hack, March 21-22 in Richmond.
