AARP Connecticut is once again providing financial support to help qualified individuals over age 50 participate in Encore! Hartford - an intensive four-month workforce development program that assists unemployed, underemployed or dislocated seasoned Connecticut corporate professionals to transition their skills and experience into managerial and professional jobs in the nonprofit sector.

Openings are available in Michigan for a job-training program for low-income people age 55 and older.
We're excited about today's announcement by  AARP Foundation regarding its founding partnership with L.A. Kitchen, a startup nonprofit founded by Robert Egger of D.C. Central Kitchen. AARP Foundation will contribute one million dollars to the project over the next three years to help fight senior hunger.
