AARP Maine is hitting the road to talk about what’s been on everyone’s minds: health care. Funded by a grant from Maine Health Access Foundation (MeHAF), AARP Maine is holding a series of community forums throughout the state (please see our schedule, below).  

Caregiving is an important issue here in Maine. Why? Well, there are more than 170,000 family caregivers in the Pine Tree State and collectively they save the state more than $2 Billion in healthcare costs, taking care of their loved ones. Usually, these caregivers are also working full time and/or raising their own children.
