AARP Georgia is hosting Community Voices for Community Choices on Saturday, June 16, 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at the Eastview Community Center of Augusta Recreation and Parks at 644 Aiken Street in Augusta.
The 2018 AARP Community Challenge is now accepting applications through May 16, 2018 to fund “quick-action” projects in communities across the country. Grants can range from several hundred dollars for small, short-term activities to several thousand for larger projects.

The winning project comes from NeighborWorks® Dakota Home Resources in Rapid City, SD. The project was one of 89 grants funded nationally through the AARP Community Challenge grant competition and is set to be completed by November 1, 2017.
