By John Van Gieson • As Florida moves to a managed care system for Medicaid enrollees in long-term care, advocates and service providers question whether it will result in inadequate care.
On April 10, Governor Maggie Hassan issued an Executive Order, creating a Commission to review and advise her on the implementation of the Medicaid Managed Care program. AARP’s Douglas McNutt is one of the experts who will serve on this newly-formed Commission.
