At this time all in-person events through 12/31/2020 have been canceled. While convening events such as these are a core part of our mission, we have changed our approach in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
MD Calvert Marine Museum Volunteer
AARP members and their families are invited to come out to the Calvert Marine Museum in Solomons on Saturday, April 7 from 10 am to 5 pm for a fun day filled with new, exciting exhibits! Stop by the AARP table and show your membership card to our volunteers for a free gift (while supplies last), and learn what AARP is doing locally in the community. Brand new exhibits include "Dinosaurs of Maryland" and a new recreational playground exhibit.

From participating in a fun Chinese New Year celebration in Howard County to hosting our first (and most popular to-date) free movie screening of  Black Panther in Owings Mills, we stayed busy last month! Are you a family caregiver? Would you like an opportunity to relax and unwind? Join AARP for a free afternoon of Mend Restorative yoga at Baltimore’s M. Power Yoga! The session will begin with an open and informal talk about our role as caregivers and where you can find support and resources, followed by a soothing session of yoga. Light refreshments will be served.
