Pride is ageless! AARP was proud to participate in the 2017 NYC Pride March as part of Governor Cuomo’s contingent. We are proud to be changing the conversation on aging.
AARP Kansas is pleased to once again co-sponsor the annual Wichita Pride Family Picnic at O.J. Watson Park in Wichita on Saturday, June 17, 2017 beginning at 11 am.  Bring your family and friends for food and fun. A Wichita Pride 2017 button is required to attend. Buttons cost $5 and may be purchased at the event.

At AARP, we work hard every day to fight for and equip individuals to live their best lives.  “What we do, we do for all,” is a guiding principle articulated by our founder, Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus, that we proudly carry forward.
AARP is committed to serving everyone 50+ including those who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) and their families.  March with AARP employees and volunteers in the Capital PRIDE Parade on Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.  By signing up through the link below, you will receive information on where to assemble. Arrive early and help to decorate the AARP trailer. The parade route will be 1.5 miles through the Dupont Circle area of the District.

   The cities of Portland and Bangor Maine are holding festivals in honor of June being National Pride Month, and AARP Maine will be at both! At our booth, we will be focusing on how AARP can better serve the LGBT community in Maine. We want to honor our LGBT members as well as hear your feedback. What are we doing well?
