AARP Nebraska will honor Black History Month with a free screening of the critically acclaimed film SELMA, at Omaha’s Aksarben Cinema on Sunday, Feb. 28 at 1:30 p.m.
In recognition of Black History Month, AARP in St. Louis is offering a special opportunity for members and their guests. Join us for a free screening of “Selma”, a film that’s a chronicle of Martin Luther King's campaign to secure equal voting rights via an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama in 1965.
As America celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Voting Rights Act (VRA), millions of eyes are on the hard-fought battle that was finally won in 1965.
