Continuing its longstanding commitment to honor veterans, military and their families, AARP Montana today shared free new career tools that are especially designed for older veterans and military personnel. Montana is home to some 92,244 vets, according to the latest data from the National Center for Veterans Analysis and Statistics, part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

This Veterans Day and throughout the year, AARP Oklahoma salutes and celebrates veterans, their service and sacrifice. Please join AARP Oklahoma as we honor those who served by supporting Tulsa’s Veterans Day parade—one of the oldest in the nation. This year marks the 101st anniversary of the parade, which will begin at 11 a.m. in downtown Tulsa on Monday, Nov. 11.
The Iowa State Fair in Des Moines is the largest event in the state and one of the oldest agricultural and industrial expositions in the country. AARP Iowa will be in the middle of the action for the fair’s duration, Aug. 9-19, with an interactive booth in the Varied Industries Building, where attendees can find the latest information on issues impacting the 50+, including Medicare and Social Security, and can take the pledge to vote in the upcoming mid-term election.
