Thinking of starting a new business as a second career? The Utah Districts of SCORE, the Small Business Administration and AARP will join forces to provide 50+ entrepreneurs with a business workshop.
Participants will learn many of the essential things that must be accomplished to insure a successful start in your business, including creating of a business plan, choosing legal representation, financing your business, marketing, and advertising. This workshop is free and open to the public.

Another business training opportunity is offered by Jump Start, also brought to you by the Utah District of the Small Business Administration and AARP along with the Women's Business Center. This training will offer fundamental tools to give aspiring entrepreneurs the start they need to make a business successful, find and maintain a competitive edge, and grab the attention of your target audience as you set up a business for success. This workshop costs $10.
