Help Fight Hunger at Rocky Mountain Raceways June 27

Area Coordinator Art Sutherland handed out ear plugs to race goers courtesy of AARP Utah. We collected thousands of cans of food for the Utah Food Bank!

It's time once again for Rocky Mountain Raceways' birthday bash, and AARP Utah helps them celebrate by teaming up with the Utah Food Bank for free admission to the races! Just bring five cans of food to the Raceways for the food bank and you'll get in free.  It's the 19th birthday bash for the Raceways and will feature bounce houses, crafts, and treats in addition to all the run on the track.

This is a great celebration for a great cause.  One in five Utah children are unsure where their next meal will come from, and 440,000 Utahns are at risk of missing a meal today.  To help with this need, the Utah Food Bank distributed over 31 million meals statewide last year utilizing a network of 134 state partner agencies.  Summer is a time of desperate need, as children are out of school and without access to school meal programs.
