New AARP Analysis Shows Virginia COVID Cases and Deaths Declining in Nursing Homes; Chronic Issues Remain
The latest release of AARP's Nursing Home COVID-19 Dashboard shows that the crisis in these facilities continues as deaths and new infections rise in Virginia, among the highest in the nation.
When the Virginia General Assembly returns to work on Wednesday, AARP volunteers will ask lawmakers for legislation to help workers save for retirement, require prescription drug price transparency, and overhaul oversight of the state’s long-term care facilities.
