Volunteer Call on Thursday, Jan. 11!

phone-388838_960_720

Curious about what’s ahead for AARP in 2018? Join AARP’s volunteer call on Jan. 11, to hear the latest!

There’s no doubt that 2018 will be a busy year for AARP and its talented teams of volunteers – especially with the activities in Congress and the Administration.

You are invited to join our first volunteer conference call of 2018 on January 11th to hear about AARP’s 2018 priorities from Nancy LeaMond, Executive VP of the Community, State and National Affairs team. We’ll also - as always - be taking volunteer questions and comments, and will provide an update on the current “state of play” for AARP in DC.

Please mark your calendars for this one-hour Q&A style conversation:

Date: Thursday, Jan. 11

Time: 2 p.m. ET (1 p.m. CT/noon MT/11 .am. PT)

Call-in Number: 877-209-3531 (toll-free and no PIN required)

Submit a question:  Feel free to submit your questions in advance.  Just email volunteer@aarp.org by 6 p.m. ET on January 10 and be sure to include “TTH question” in your subject line. We will also be taking questions by phone during the call.

Call recording availability: As always, the calls will be recorded and stored on the Volunteer Portal – http://volunteer.aarp.org – in the Libraries tab (enter TTH in the search box).  If you need help logging onto the Portal, please call AARP’s Volunteer Help Line at 866-740-7719 or email volunteer@aarp.org.

The calls are a great way to hear the latest information about hot topics and to share your questions and comments directly with AARP leaders. For your planning purposes, two calls are held each month: the 2nd Thursday at 2 p.m. ET and the last Thursday at 7 PM ET. The number to dial to join either call is the same: 877-209-3531.

Each call is different and offers a learning opportunity for all as we share information on a range of issues, activities and resources from AARP.
