Get started by attending our Volunteer Information Session & Orientation. At this session, you will receive information about how you can:
- Make Cincinnati a more livable community for people of all ages by participating in community forums, listening sessions, and voicing your opinion to influencers.
- Help others learn how to prepare to care for their loved ones as they age; learn more about brain health; how to plan to live longer; how to prevent fraud; and more.
- Have fun and make friends volunteering at events such as the Cincinnati Opening Day of Baseball celebration, unique AARP events at the Cincinnati Observatory, AARP’s Movies for Grownups and more.
- Make a difference by advocating on issues that impact millions of older adults in Ohio – on a local, state or national level.
The session is designed to be interactive and is led by current volunteers who will share their personal experience, answer your questions and give you a first hand perspective on what it’s like to be an AARP volunteer. If you decide to become an AARP volunteer you will stay for the Volunteer Orientation which will cover AARP’s volunteer philosophy and policies.
