Do you know a volunteer, over the age of 50, who’s made a significant impact on your neighborhood? Now’s your chance to get them recognized - nominate that volunteer superstar for AARP’s most prestigious community service award.

What is it?

The Ethel Percy Andrus Award, named after AARP’s founder, aims to shine a light on outstanding local volunteers who donate their skills, time and love to their communities.

AARP Washington will be accepting nominations until July 15, 2019, and the winner will receive the opportunity to donate $2,000 to an eligible non-profit of his or her choosing.
