AARP NY invites you to attend a debate with candidates for New York City Council Speaker.

In the coming years, the New York City Council will have the task of addressing the needs of a city that is growing and aging rapidly. We want to make sure the next City Council Speaker is prepared to address those challenges and the needs of the 50+ population.

Candidates for New York City Council Speaker will debate on their priorities for the Council, as well as issues important to New Yorkers 50+ including affordable housing, transportation, support for caregivers, and livability.

Directions: Take the Lexington Avenue 4, 5 or 6 train to 86th Street, or the 6 train to 96th street.
