AARP Hawai`i Holding Fraud Watch Friday Events in May

Go inside the mind of a criminal and learn to recognize the tactics financial criminals use to steal from kupuna as AARP Hawai`i kicks off a month of Fraud Watch Friday webinars and events in May.

The Fraud Watch Friday events will help kupuna and those who care for them learn how to fight back against fraud. The series kicks off on Friday, May 6 with Honolulu Deputy Prosecutor Scott Spallina, who will share real-life examples of financial crimes against kupuna and explain how fraudsters build trust with their victims. Other webinars will look at the top frauds reported in Hawai`i and how to protect your personal information online.
