AARP Indiana, Indiana Repertory Theatre announce “The Folks at Home” local discount

AARP members and their guests can enjoy a local discount on a poignant theatre experience in Indianapolis that sends up 70s sitcoms, intergenerational living, and finding balance within it all.

“The Folks at Home” is billed as a modern family comedy by the Indiana Repertory Theatre (IRT):

Roger and Brandon, an interracial couple living in South Baltimore, are doing the very best they can to live their version of the American dream: love, house, solid jobs. Except Roger’s been laid off for months, their mortgage is late…and there might be a ghost in the attic. And that was before both sets of parents decided to move in! This contemporary riff on the beloved family sitcoms of the 70s is a complex yet heartwarming portrait of modern life.

The local discount is available from February 20 through March 13 at the IRT. Members and their guests can use the discount code HOME25 online* and at the IRT will call desk for a discount. All ticket prices (which range from $22 to $86) will be capped at $25 when using the discount code.
