Central Indiana Spring Shred-It Event cancelled

The Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana Community Shred-it Day presented by AARP Indiana scheduled for April 25 has been cancelled.

Convening events is a core part of achieving AARP’s non-profit mission of serving Americans age 50 and over – a mission that includes supporting family caregivers, providing job training, fighting fraud, advocating for lower drug prices and more.

Events will be canceled when local public health agencies request it, when there’s an exposure to coronavirus, when the facility the event was planned for closes, or when our leadership team, in its best judgment, decides an event should not go forward.

It’s best to confirm events, hours, and availabilities before traveling to the location. We will stay vigilant as long as there are public health concerns persisting in any of the communities we serve.

AARP Indiana hopes to see another Shred-it Day in the Indianapolis metropolitan area scheduled this fall with our community partners, Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana.
