Get Active With New Fort Wayne Fitness Park

A new AARP-sponsored fitness park is now open at the Fort Wayne Community Center, at 233 W. Main St. 

The park was built as part of AARP’s 60th-anniversary celebration initiative to add a new fitness park in every state. 

The facility, which can be used by residents of all ages, was built in collaboration with FitLot, a nonprofit that advocates for free public exercise spaces. 

The equipment is available anytime, and the city also offers regular fitness classes at the site. People are encouraged to follow all local and CDC COVID-19 guidance.
