The State of Maryland is unveiling a new partnership with SIRUM—the nation’s largest redistributor of surplus medications—to make prescription drugs more affordable for residents. Through its partner, the non-profit, home delivery pharmacy Good Pill, SIRUM is opening its operations across the state, improving medication access for hundreds of thousands of Marylanders in need.
Anyone with a Maryland mailing address who faces high prescription costs can receive their prescriptions from Good Pill, regardless of insurance status. Most of the medications are available for $6 for a 90-day supply.
It's easy to get started.
Visit www.goodpill.org and click on “Check our Stock” for a list of available medications.
Register online.
Click "Get Started." For assistance, call (888) 987-5187 Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Send your prescription(s).
Ask your provider send prescription(s) to "Good Pill Home Delivery." If you have refills at a local pharmacy, you can request a transfer.
Receive your meds.
Allow 1-2 days for processing and 3-5 days for delivery to your home. They will text/email updates on your order status.
Pay for your order.
You pay after you receive your medications. Good Pill accepts checks money order or credit card. Financial assistance is available.
Get refills automatically.
Good Pill will contact you a few days before they're shipped in case your meds have changed.
