Baltimore County Offers New Computer Training for Seniors Program

In partnership with CCBC (Community College of Baltimore County) Senior Institute, the CCBC Foundation, and Baltimore County Public Libraries, AARP is presenting a way to increase your independence through technology. Do you know someone in the Baltimore County area without any computer experience, but who has the desire to learn? Then this is the class for them!

Join a small group session (no more than 4-6 older adults) lead by one CCBC instructor teaching the fundamentals of using a computer. Learn basic readiness skills, how to use the internet to access information, and how to send and receive email messages.

Students will be using Chromebook laptops. These are easy to use and may be available to borrow for free from Baltimore County Public Library branches. For more information and to sign up for one of the available classes,  call 443-840-4700 or go to ccbcmd.edu/flexreg.

More information is available in the flyer below. We hope you will consider referring someone who would benefit from this new program!
