Happy Lunar New Year and "Year of the Dog" Photo Contest!

AARP is also happy to announce the launch of a new AARP webpage completely in Mandarin for Chinese members and their families.

But, wait there’s more! AARP also has updated  online resources specifically tailored to the Asian American and Pacific Islander community.

SPECIAL "YEAR OF THE DOG" CONTEST! 

In celebration of 2018 being the Year of the Dog, we’re encouraging all Marylanders to send us a picture of their canine fur-babies! In addition to adding every pup’s image to a special AARP Maryland Facebook Photo Album (we'll post the link here soon), we will also randomly select one lucky dog on the first Wednesday of every month (March to December 2018) to be featured in our "Watch Dog Wednesday" fraud alert posts on social media and in our Social Squad email.

In December, those 10 featured Year of the Dog canine all-stars will be entered for a randomly selected chance to win a special "bark-tastic" AARP Maryland prize!

To enter your pet into the contest (Maryland dogs only, please!), email all images featuring just your dog (no humans) to md@aarp.org with the subject line "Year of the Dog contest," and include your dog's name and city of residence.
