Tech Makes Older Adults Healthier: Learn How at Howard County's 50+EXPO on 10/31

Learn about the latest in health tracker technology and how it can positively impact older adults' lives during at the 18th Annual Howard County 50+EXPO in Columbia, MD!

Being held at Wilde Lake High School (5460 Trumpeter Road, Columbia, MD 21044) from 9 am to 4 pm on Monday, October 31, the Howard County 50+EXPO will feature a presentation by AARP's Senior Advisor of Digital Strategy & Membership, Mike Lee.

Mike will speak to attendees about his personal health victories in weight loss and increasing his activity with health trackers, and how wearable technology is making it possible for older adults to live healthy lives in a fun way.

AARP will also be demoing various types of health tracker technology in the 50+EXPO exhibit hall and offering free gifts to attendees. This event for older adults in Howard County features vendors and exhibitors of interest to older adults, as well as families, caregivers, care providers and professionals. Admission is $1 (with all admission proceeds benefiting the Vivian Reid Community Fund for Older Adults) and free parking is available at the Mall in Columbia (a courtesy shuttle will drop attendees at the front door of the expo).
