Join us on Friday, May 19, at 11:00 a.m., for our virtual legislative briefing - where we will share information about the legislation we supported during the 2023 Maryland General Assembly with our volunteer advocates and AARP Maryland Associate State Director of Advocacy Tammy Bresnahan.

Our legislative priorities include: supporting family caregivers; improving the quality of care in long-term care facilities; supporting access to mental health resources; combating food insecurity; protecting consumers; protecting retirement income; and strengthening communities for all ages.

The virtual legislative briefing allows Marylanders to hear from our Associate State Director Tammy Bresnahan and volunteer advocates who fought to pass bills to improve the quality of life for residents 50-plus.
