The Beacon's Celebration of the Arts Winners

ArtCompetitionv2-1

Congratulations to the The Beacon's Celebration of the Arts winners for 2018. Artists over age 50 from the District, Maryland and Virginia created and submitted hundreds of entries in four categories, incorporating visual and written works. "Art, in its various forms, is a great way to express one's creative ideas and freely display their emotions," says Hank Greenberg, AARP Maryland state director. “It’s exciting to see the wealth and diversity of talent on display.”

As a sponsor of the event, AARP Maryland would like to highlight the winners that hail from the "Old Line State". They represent different artistic categories and we are very proud of them. We are also proud to congratulate all of the entrants who shared their works with us.
