AARP Eye Center
AARP Michigan and the City of Grand Rapids will host a community conversation on Feb. 16 to brainstorm on local efforts needed to make Grand Rapids a great place for all ages.
The community conversation will focus on the actions local officials and community organizations need to take to best support residents who want to remain in their homes and neighborhoods as they age. Community leaders are working to prepare for an aging population and are partnering with AARP to meet this challenge.
Thought leaders from the Grand Rapids area will offer feedback on how local policies and programs can drive innovation at the local level and build livable communities across Michigan. Attendees will also learn how the City of Grand Rapids is making this part of their master plan for 2017.
