This October, WDIV-TV, the most watched TV station in the Great Lake State, joins forces with two of the Great Lakes State’s largest statewide organizations – AARP Michigan and the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, both with highly engaged voters – to present a prime-time U.S. Senate candidate debate for the open seat held by Sen. Debbie Stabenow since 2001.
This much-anticipated meeting of the candidates promises to deliver a preeminent opportunity for Michigan voters in one of the top contested races in the country to hear where candidates stand on critical issues.
The debate will be held at a neutral location (date/time TBA) in Southeast Michigan before a live audience and televised on WDIV TV (Detroit) with additional statewide streaming by affiliate stations and interested media.

*Scheduling of candidate participation is contingent on the outcome of Michigan’s August 6 primary election and candidate availability.
