Driven to Help Others

driver

Here’s your opportunity to bring you skills and experience to help others refresh their knowledge on driving safely.

The AARP Safe Driver classes provide information on safe driving techniques, navigating dangerous road conditions and avoiding accidents. Our popular classes are provided locally by volunteer instructors.

Join more than 5,000 AARP Driver Safety volunteers nationwide teaching and organizing the award-winning AARP Smart Driver classroom course curriculum.

As a volunteer, you will:

  • Organize and teach classroom courses in your area at locations such as community centers, hospitals and nonprofit partner organizations.
  • Get all the training and tools you need to make your volunteer experience the best it can be.
  • Be part of a local Driver Safety community of dedicated volunteers.
  • Have fun and feel good knowing you’re making a difference in your community.
  • Many additional volunteer opportunities are available

Not interested in being an instructor?  No problem! We have opportunities for those who have a background in marketing, good at organizing and even managing data. Many options to assist are available beyond a course instructor: data manager, marketing & recruitment specialist, tech adviser or volunteer leader. Lots of opportunities available to be part of this amazing program offered by AARP!

Interested?  Great! Just CLICK THIS LINK and complete the interest indicator.  You will be contacted by a volunteer leader with the Driver Safety program right here in Missouri to further explore your interests.
