St. Louis will be bursting with color June 27-28, 2015 at Soldier’s Memorial celebrating PrideFest. AARP in St. Louis will once again participate in the PrideFest activities. We will have a booth at the festival in an area specifically for people 50+ which will have acoustic entertainment, seating and a wine garden. You don’t want to miss out on all the fun!
Visitors to this area of the festival will not only have the opportunity to enjoy all of the offerings listed above but will also be afforded ample seating in a shaded area – a rarity at PrideFest. In addition, during the parade, there will be a viewing stand for older adults for watching the Pride Parade – providing all with a great view of the many colorful entries - including the AARP in St. Louis float! We will also be collecting personal stories from caregivers along with giving everyone the opportunity to share with us what’s most important to caregivers of all ages.
This will be a fantastic weekend filled with lively music, time for catching up with old friends & making new friends and helping us to gather the heroic stories of the unsung caregiver. Join us June 27th & 28th!
