Enjoy a free ice cream cone with AARP at the UNL Dairy Store, 114 Food Industry Complex, UNL East Campus.  Stop at our AARP table to receive a coupon for one free scoop of ice cream (any flavor) on a sugar cone, cake cone or dish.   No substitutions are allowed.

Enter on the North side by the Tom Osborne statue for the Osborne Complex.  Metered parking is available and there is also a parking garage close by.

See the home of the Nebraska Cornhuskers on the AARP Memorial Stadium Tour.  This guided walking tour will take you through the inside of the Memorial Stadium to see several special displays, the Hawks Championship Center and additional areas of the Osborne Athletic Complex.  Be prepared to walk for one hour.

Enjoy an evening with the stars at Mueller Planetarium's "Big Red Sky Tour."  The show will start promptly at 6 p.m. and last 30 minutes followed by a self-guided walk through Morrill Hall.  Children must be at least 4 years old to be admitted into the show.  The planetarium is a dark environment with overhead motion and occasional loud sounds during the show. It is not recommended for guests who are sensitive to such conditions.

Park in front of the Museum or the interior lot north of Morrill Hall. Go south on 14th St. and enter the lot via the southwest corner of Memorial Loop Road.  Parking questions? Call 402-472-2637.

Ryan Sothan from the Nebraska Attorney General's Office will present a mid-year update on fraud and scams impacting older Nebraskans, including the top-reported complaints involving imposter scams and identity theft. He will also discuss a new state law with increased consumer protection measures at no cost to Nebraskans.
