Join Us for Lobby Day at the State Capitol Feb. 12

Join other AARP members from across the state for our grassroots Lobby Day in Lincoln Feb. 12! We will discuss priority issues for age 50 plus Nebraskans in the 2020 legislative session. You will have a chance to meet your senator and watch the Unicameral in action.

We will give briefings on issues and bills impacting older Nebraskans and their families. Topics will cover prescription drugs, caregiving, long-term care, fraud and consumer protection, broadband and more.

AARP Lobby Day will be held Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cornhusker Marriott Hotel, 333 South 13th St, Suite 202. A shuttle will take you to the Capitol from the hotel and back.

There is no cost to attend but registration is required. Space is limited. RSVP to neaarp@aarp.org or (402) 323-5429 by Feb. 5.

Lunch will be provided at no cost. A free AARP shuttle will leave from pick-up locations in Omaha and Grand Island. Lodging is available if you live more than 70 miles from Lincoln.

Please indicate if you wish to ride the shuttle from either location or need lodging when you register.
