AARP volunteers organize and run an annual free document shredding day in Omaha with Shred-It. The event helps residents fight fraud and avoid identity theft.



We have several ongoing opportunities for you to bring special AARP programs to your community as a volunteer. Appy today for one or more of these volunteer openings!


AARP Fraud Watch Network Volunteers

Help your peers and their families spot and avoid identify theft, fraud and scams through the AARP Fraud Watch Network ( www.aarp.org/FraudWatchNetwork). You will receive training to provide community presentations and assist with events. If interested in this position please put FRAUD VOLUNTEER in the subject line of your email. AARP Life Reimagined Guide Volunteers

We all imagine our dreams fulfilled, whether it’s having an active retirement, opening a business or pursing a calling to serve. Volunteers are trained to conduct Life Reimagined Checkups with local community groups and personal networks. Life Reimagined is a series of online and offline experiences to help people reflect, evaluate priorities and take action to live their best life. With Life Reimagined, AARP is helping people of all ages navigate life transitions. For more information check out www.lifereimagined.org. AARP Computer Class Instructors (Omaha only)

Have an interest in teaching people age 50 plus how to use computers, search the Internet and protect their online security? AARP has openings for instructors in the Omaha area.
