Vermonters can learn about the latest scams and get tips on how to protect themselves at a Scam Jam hosted by AARP Vermont.
The event, set for Tuesday, Sept. 19, in Rutland, will feature officials from the Vermont Attorney General’s Office and AARP. They will provide practical information and resources, including how to spot red flags and what to do if you think you’ve been a victim of fraud.
The session will be from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Franklin Events Center (1 Scale Ave.). Light refreshments will be provided.
