Demystifying Medicare

AARP Alaska is hosting a live telephone-based town hall event to discuss Medicare. Topics of discussion will include how to enroll, late enrollment penalties for Part B and Part D, prescription drug plans and what Medigap (supplemental coverage) includes. 

“Open enrollment starts soon!  Be sure your current Medicare Prescription Drug plan covers your medication, works with your pharmacy, and is the best cost for you,” said Project Assistant Jeanné Larson of Alaska Medicare Information Office.
