AARP Delaware announces spring events

AARP Delaware announces an array of virtual events for the spring season. These events will provide fun, fulfillment and useful information to make life better for Delawareans age 50+ and their families. Events require registration and have limited space availability to ensure an interactive experience. Events can also be viewed on AARP Delaware’s Facebook Events tab.  

Caregiving in the LGBT Community- The LGBT community has some unique challenges when they take on caregiving responsibilities for loved ones. Hear from caregivers, young and old, with tips and tools to help you cope.

Getting Back on a Bike (Series of 3) - AARP Delaware’s Getting Back on a Bike workshop series are interactive virtual workshops where an instructor gives tips for bicycling for new riders and those who may not have ridden a bike in a while. It’s a fun, safe way to get back into bike riding for fitness and transportation. Registration is required, space is limited.

Contactless Shred Events- Contactless, drive-up shredding events will be available for participants to shred anything that contains personal information at these drive-thru contact free shredding sites. Registration is required, and space is limited.
